Terms of Service

Last updated: July 22, 2026

Agreement

By using QuickPad at quickpad.jaisehgal.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

QuickPad lets you create, edit, and share notes through unique links. Features may include real-time collaboration, password protection, read-only sharing, version history, expiration, and burn-after-reading. We may update or discontinue features at any time.

No accounts

QuickPad does not use traditional user accounts. Access to edit a note is controlled by a management token issued when the note is created. Keep this token safe — anyone with it can manage the note. We cannot recover lost management tokens.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use QuickPad to:

  • Post illegal, harmful, abusive, or infringing content
  • Attempt to access notes you do not have permission to view
  • Overload, disrupt, or probe the service (including automated scraping or abuse)
  • Distribute malware, spam, or phishing material

We may remove content or block access that violates these rules or poses a risk to the service or other users.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you write. By using QuickPad, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely to operate the service (for example saving notes, syncing collaborators, and generating share links).

You are responsible for your content and for complying with applicable laws. Do not store confidential, regulated, or highly sensitive data unless you accept the risks of link-based sharing.

Availability

QuickPad is provided on a free, best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, real-time sync at all times, or permanent storage. Back up important content elsewhere. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure limits, or outages may affect access.

Disclaimer

QuickPad is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickPad and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
